| General Notes: |
This laptop runs nicely, after it is setup properly. I had to set the apic:lupcpsmp_forceload=-1 in /etc/system as well as turning off ACPI as setting acpi-user-options=0x2 in /boot/solaris/bootenv.rc, but after that it is a very nice laptop.
This laptop is a tad on the bulky side, but it makes up for it with performance and the fact that it has an Athlon64 CPU in it and is ready for the future of Solaris x86. |
