| General Notes: |
There is a known issue on X4270 systems resulting in a panic when a correctable error is detected by the host bridge. The XH0303 uses a PLX 8311 bridge which does not implement AER. As a result a fatal non-correctable error is received resulting in a panic.
There is a workaround to mask correctable errors (pci_ce_mask=-1) which seems to avoid the panic. There is also a release of Ulticom's driver which also avoids the panic by masking correctable errors. Please request assistance from Ulticom. |
