Install Notes:
Users need to boot the Solaris 10 system in 32-bit mode and then install the patch. To boot the Solaris system in 32 bit mode, edit the boot-line by pressing 'e' at grub boot menu and include /kernel/unix/ to the bootline as follows:
kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot kernel/unix
Press 'b' to continue booting. Then, copy the downloaded patch file to /var/tmp using ftp or scp. Install the patch using the patchadd command as follows:
/cd /var/tmp
patchadd ./127112-05 /
After successful installation, the Solaris 10 system can be rebooted in the default 64-bit mode.
