As a result, Oracle strongly suggests the following actions:
Rich text content in the WebLogic GroupSpace application is susceptible to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Because rich text content in GroupSpace is actually HTML, it is possible for an authenticated user to add JavaScript code that will execute in other users' environment (e.g., browser) when the HTML is rendered. It is possible that the JavaScript could contain malicious code.
This advisory gives administrators a way to prevent this vulnerability by providing a configurable option to turn off the rich text editor and use a plain text editor instead.
