OCI’s performance allows the Oracle Red Bull Racing team to run 1 million Monte Carlo simulations per second throughout every race to help guide strategy decisions. By leveraging a modern technology stack, equipped with the power and flexibility of Kubernetes, they can scale up their simulation platform while keeping costs within the tight spending regulations defined by the sport.
Using Oracle CX, the team developed the Oracle Red Bull Racing Paddock, an engagement platform that helps fans get closer to the team. How? One example is sim racing, which lets fans drive an online version of the F1 race courses. Using OCI, they can even see how their performance compares to Max Verstappen's.
The Oracle Red Bull Racing Paddock has grown its loyalty membership by more than 950%.
