*Voor eenvoudige vergelijking van prijzen van meerdere cloudserviceproviders, bevatten Oracle webpagina's zowel vCPU-prijzen (virtuele CPU's) als OCPU-prijzen (Oracle CPU) voor producten met prijzen op basis van compute. De producten zelf, de provisionering in de portal, facturering, enzovoort blijven gebruikmaken van OCPU-eenheden (Oracle CPU). OCPU's vertegenwoordigen fysieke CPU-cores. De meeste CPU-architecturen, inclusief x86, voeren twee threads per fysieke core uit. Daarom is 1 OCPU het equivalent van 2 vCPU's voor op x86 gebaseerde compute. Het OCPU-tarief per uur dat aan klanten in rekening wordt gebracht, wordt daarom berekend als twee keer de vCPU-prijs, omdat ze twee vCPU's compute voor elke OCPU ontvangen, tenzij het een subcore-instance is, zoals voor preëmptieve instances.
