- JMC 9 can be used to monitor recordings made on JDK 7 Update 40 and above on any platform for which the monitored JDK is certified. E.g. Although JMC 9 is not certified on 32 bit systems, it can be used to monitor 32-bit systems running a 32-bit JDK 8 update.
- Only 64-bit Java virtual machines (JVMs) are certified
- It is possible to install JDK Mission Control as plug-ins in Eclipse. Use the Eclipse Update Site to download.
